In a sad incident which took place in Samalkha, Haryana, a 17-year-old teenager named Sumit died while performing a stunt. A stunt that would have brought him only 500 bucks. According ta report on daily.bhaskar.com the deceased use to work for Deepak alias Kaali and earned rupees 500 a day. Allegedly few men namely Kaali, Dibla, Ankit, Aman and Satbir forced Sumit to perform dangerous stunts which ultimately took away his life.
Investigation Officer ASI Rameshwar told that the boy was buried alive in a 5-foot pit on Friday night at around 9 PM as a part of the stunt. The pit was earlier used by villagers to throw cow dung. Therefore, the pit became a breeding ground for bio gasses and lack of oxygen led to the 17-year-old’s death. What’s even more shocking is the fact that, when Sumit was pulled out of the pit, he was said to be alive but instead of taking him to the hospital, the accused were busy collecting money for the stunt.
Due to the delay in medical aid, the boy died. A case has been registered against the five accused Kaali, Dibla, Ankit, Aman and Satbir; Satbir.
Sumit’s father added that the accused use to take the boy forcibly to perform the stunt. His mother had also complained against the accused in Sadar police station but to no avail.
